DeepBlue is an original story and reflection game for adults, made by Weave. It is not an assessment, treatment, or a way to score your mental health.

Your words stay here

The new game stores progress, choices, optional reflections and settings in this browser using IndexedDB. It does not send those contents to Weave, use analytics, or require an account. Ordinary hosting requests still occur when loading the game and its artwork; the host may keep standard access logs.

Other people using the same browser profile may be able to open your voyage. This is local storage, not password-protected or encrypted storage. Clearing browser data, using private browsing, or losing the device can remove your progress. Export a backup from Pause or Journal and keep it somewhere private. Imported files create a new voyage slot.

Earlier voyages

You may choose to bring in progress and answers stored locally by the earlier DeepBlue. The original local save remains untouched. The new game does not retrieve, change, or erase records previously submitted to the old cloud service. For questions about earlier submissions, use the contact details on the Weave website.

Play at your own pace

Every reflection is optional. Every puzzle offers help. You can leave at any time. The characters are fictional; their experiences and your choices do not establish anything about your health or identity.

Credits

Story, game design and implementation: Weave, with AI-assisted production. Original visual concepts, environments and characters created with OpenAI image generation and reviewed for this game. Music and effects are original procedural Web Audio compositions. Built with Phaser, React, Next.js and Zustand.

Hanken Grotesk and Newsreader are self-hosted under the SIL Open Font License. Dependency and font licence notices accompany the project.
